If You Don't Weaken

Playwriting

My play A Body of Water was published by Dramatists Play Service and produced around the country after its debut at Circle Repertory in New York. A Body of Water was also chosen by the National Foundation for Jewish Culture on the 350th anniversary of Jewish life in America as a play that "breaks new ground."

Recent productions include If You Don't Weaken at Freshwater Theatre; Alyeska, produced at Blank Slate Theatre; A Great Miracle Happened Here at the Illusion Theater's Fresh Ink Series; I Wouldn't Be Here and In Coya's House at the Great American History Theatre. I've also adapted two of Eric Kimmel's picture books into plays for The Minnesota Jewish Theatre: The Chanukah Guest and The Magic Dreidels.

I am a two-time winner of the McKnight Advancement Artists Fellowship and a member of Prosody, a composer-lyricist group whose work is performed at Twin Cities cabarets.
